Electrical Contracts Manager – Lead Electrical Packages

About the role

The Electrical Contracts Manager will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of all electrical work packages across multiple projects. You will ensure that electrical systems are designed, engineered, installed and commissioned to meet client specifications, industry standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Package Management – define scope, run tender processes, evaluate bids, award contracts and oversee delivery; monitor supplier performance against technical and quality standards.
• Technical Oversight – provide leadership for LV and ELV systems, instrumentation, control systems and overall electrical infrastructure; review drawings, calculations and method statements.
• Project Delivery – maintain progress reports, risk registers and monitor installation, testing and commissioning activities; resolve technical and commercial issues and attend factory witness tests.
• Stakeholder Coordination – act as the primary contact for suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams; collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement and support client meetings, audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years experience managing electrical packages/contracts on large‑scale industrial, infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical system design, installation and commissioning.
• Proven experience in contract management, procurement and supplier coordination.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
