Electrical Site Manager – Munster

About the role

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for a diverse portfolio of projects across Munster. You will act as the on‑site representative of the Project Manager, overseeing all phases from mobilisation through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing construction programmes, look‑ahead plans and equipment schedules.
• Establish the site, implement safety starter packs and contribute to the HSEQ plan.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments and construction drawings.
• Develop daily action plans covering HSEQ, productivity and people management.
• Maintain a site diary, chair internal subcontractor meetings and track variations with the QS.
• Produce short‑term programmes aligned with the master schedule and update progress weekly.
• Manage subcontractor supervision, ensuring workforce availability and efficient productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing electrical works on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ standards and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
