Electrical Technician – Pharma

About the role

The Electrical Utilities Technician will join the Maintenance and Calibration team at a major biopharmaceutical site in Dublin. The role focuses on delivering preventive and corrective maintenance for all utility equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and compliance with GMP, statutory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for utility systems across all buildings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, liaising with site supervisors, contractors and equipment vendors.
• Complete and update all required documentation, risk assessments, maintenance plans, BOMs and SOPs.
• Ensure work is performed in line with GMP rules, statutory regulations and EHS guidelines.
• Participate in audits, ITP verification and mechanical room inspections, following up on corrective actions.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and support the contract maintenance team during shutdowns.
• Analyse maintenance history, evaluate PM job plans and implement improvements to reliability and compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical utilities maintenance within a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with GMP, statutory requirements and EHS standards.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts, shutdown periods and multiple site locations.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with contract managers, engineering teams and vendors.
