About the role
The Electrical Utilities Technician will join the Maintenance and Calibration team at a leading biopharmaceutical site in Dublin. You will be responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for all utilities, ensuring maximum uptime and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Coordinator and Planner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve utilities equipment issues across all buildings.
- Complete required documentation before and after each task.
- Collaborate with the site DES team, contract managers, client engineering, and equipment vendors.
- Participate in risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement of maintenance procedures.
- Maintain and update maintenance plans, BOMs, SOPs, and ITPs for new equipment.
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the electrical preventive‑maintenance programme.
Required profile
- Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of GMP and statutory requirements.
- Ability to work flexibly around maintenance shutdowns and shift schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to EHS standards.
Required skills
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical utilities.
- Troubleshooting of complex equipment.
- Risk assessment and safety compliance (GMP, statutory, EHS).
- Inspection Test Plan (ITP) management.
- Audit participation and follow‑up actions.
- Maintenance planning, BOM creation, and SOP development.
- Data build for new equipment and reliability optimisation.
