Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in Galway, driving operational performance and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will align engineering objectives with business goals and ensure delivery of high‑quality projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing engineering team.
• Prioritise engineering work, allocate resources and oversee project delivery.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, OEE and process optimisation.
• Support preventative maintenance and operational‑excellence activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality and other functions to solve problems and drive corrective actions through the QMS.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and departmental performance, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Polymer or Mechanical preferred).
• Lean and/or Six Sigma qualification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
• Proven people‑management and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
