Engineering Manager – Lead Engineering Teams

This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop engineering teams within a well‑established, growing organisation. The role is hands‑on, supportive and focused on delivering reliable equipment performance through strong technical expertise and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
• Oversee engineering support to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Own and develop the preventative maintenance programme for production assets and maintain CMMS records.
• Lead, coach, and manage engineering staff while overseeing service contractors and contracts.
• Manage engineering budgets, compliance records, engineering spares, and cross‑functional coordination activities.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or similar) with practical hands‑on experience.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and service contractors.
• Strong planning, organisation and budget management skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programmes and CMMS.

Required skills

• Siemens S7 PLC troubleshooting.
• CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) operation.
• Automation systems knowledge.
