Engineering Surveyor – Leixlip

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Surveyor to join our Special Projects team in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The role focuses on establishing and analysing survey control for a high‑profile semiconductor project, offering exposure to cutting‑edge geospatial technology.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field‑based surveying using total stations, reality capture scanners and Leica equipment.
• Establish survey controls, set out gridlines, datums, levelling and traversing.
• Record and report surveying data accurately according to project specifications.
• Prepare set‑out files and assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
• Maintain survey kit and ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in surveying.
• Safe Pass certification and ability to travel independently to worksites.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Degree in a survey‑related field (desirable).
• Full EU/Ireland driver’s licence (desirable).
• Willingness to travel across Europe as project needs evolve.

Required skills

• Operation of total stations and reality capture scanners.
• Use of Leica surveying technology.
• AutoCAD (desirable).
