Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

About the role

MSR-FSR is seeking Mechanical QA/QC professionals to oversee quality assurance and installation verification for complex construction and semiconductor facility projects across Europe. The role ensures compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements through inspections, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial, interim, and final system walkdowns to verify installation quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure work meets customer requirements, industry standards, and established procedures.
• Interpret, apply, and enforce regulations, codes, and standards related to plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF systems.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, and oversight of construction and installation activities with key stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive QA records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Generate detailed reports on project status, quality metrics, and issue resolution.
• Represent the organisation in pre‑construction meetings, design reviews, and operational sessions.
• Perform final QA inspections and acceptance reviews, ensuring installations meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and respond to engineering and installation inquiries throughout project execution.
• Validate that equipment and integrated systems satisfy Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical QA/QC for construction or semiconductor facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards for plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF systems.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
