English Teacher – International Language Campus

About the role

EF Education First is looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its Dublin International Language Campus. You will work in a multicultural environment, helping adult learners achieve their language goals through General English and specialised interest courses.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver General English and Special Interest (SPIN) classes as directed by the Director of Studies (DOS) or Assistant DOS.
• Prepare lecture materials and select supplementary resources that respect the diverse cultural background of students.
• Cover for absent colleagues when required and participate in peer‑observation programmes.
• Attend weekly staff meetings, input grades in iTracker fortnightly, and write student reports as needed.
• Administer, mark and return tests, maintain accurate electronic registers and daily attendance records.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and uphold EF’s safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• CELTA or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• University degree.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Passion for international education and student success.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Legal right to work in Ireland at the start of employment.
