Enhanced Nurse (RNID) – Adult Services Limerick

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Enhanced Nurse (RNID) to join its Adult Services team in Limerick. The role involves delivering nursing care, personal support and facilitating community access for adults with disabilities in a day‑service setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing duties and assist with personal care needs of service users.
• Support mobility and promote participation in community activities.
• Deliver care on the virtual day service platform.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement person‑centred plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records.

Required profile

• RNID qualification recognised in the Republic of Ireland.
• Registered with the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the NMBI.
• At least 1 year and 16 weeks of relevant nursing experience post‑qualification.
• Full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and commitment to maintain annual NMBI registration.

Required skills

• Basic IT proficiency.
