Experienced Scientist (Empower) – Biotherapeutics R&D

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Experienced Scientist (Empower) to join the Biotherapeutics R&D team in Ringaskiddy, Cork. The role will support development programs and analytical activities within the Separation Sciences group, operating in a GMP‑compliant laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support and troubleshooting for the Empower LIMS system, ensuring timely resolution of e‑tickets.
• Design and develop custom fields and reports within Empower.
• Build, design, and release Empower report methods, projects and software updates.
• Handle and control separation data, including reference materials and samples, within the Empower system.
• Offer technical support for investigations and data requests related to biotherapeutic projects.

Required profile

• Experience supporting biotherapeutic R&D and analytical development activities.
• Familiarity with method transfer, validation and laboratory operations in a GMP environment.
• Ability to collaborate across functional teams to deliver compliant outcomes.

Required skills

• Empower LIMS administration and troubleshooting.
