About the role
The Family Advocate joins a dedicated team at CCRC to support families and young children within an Early Education Center. This full‑time position focuses on building strong family partnerships, enhancing parent engagement, and ensuring program compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Family Partnership and Comprehensive Services (60%): Provide direct support, resources, and guidance to families, fostering child and family well‑being.
- Parent Engagement and Program Governance (20%): Facilitate parent involvement, coordinate program activities, and support governance structures.
- Program Compliance and Administrative (20%): Manage documentation, maintain compliance with Head Start/CCP standards, and handle administrative tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies, Social Work, Human Development or a related field.
- Experience working with families and young children.
- Ability to obtain or maintain CPR, First Aid, and Child Development teaching certifications.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for meetings, trainings, and conferences.
- Clearance for background checks, Live Scan, and compliance with program requirements.

What we offer
- Hourly rate of $25.00.
- Full‑time 40‑hour work week with flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
