Field Service Operations Manager

About the role

Lead a team of Customer Engineers supporting critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and act as the primary point of contact for service delivery.
• Drive operational performance across safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders such as Technical Support, Training, Finance, HR, Spares, and Sales.
• Manage workforce planning, hiring, training, and resource allocation for current and future growth.
• Monitor operational and financial performance, identifying efficiency and profitability improvements.
• Oversee installation, startup, warranty, and service support activities to meet customer commitments.
• Support technical escalation management and remove execution barriers.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical teams in semiconductor, engineering, manufacturing, or field service environments.
• Strong people management skills, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑moving environment.
• Sound commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost management.
• Effective communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
