Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the finance team of a global food innovator. The role will support operational and commercial excellence by providing financial insight, robust forecasting and proactive partnership with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to operations leadership, influencing strategic and day‑to‑day decisions.
• Provide clear financial insights, challenge assumptions and deliver commercial guidance to drive accountability.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders and raise financial awareness across teams.
• Partner with Operations to deliver continuous improvement, cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives.
• Lead financial evaluation of capital investments to ensure strong ROI.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting to enhance operational performance and transparency.
• Own Bill Of Materials (BOM) accuracy, stock reporting and support resolution of manufacturing and inventory issues.
• Manage operations cost centres, including month‑end close and variance analysis.
• Deliver in‑depth analysis of manufacturing performance with actionable recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term strategic planning aligned to operational goals.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proven experience partnering with non‑finance functions.
• Highly motivated, adaptable and forward‑thinking.
• International experience is a plus.
