Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented Qualified Accountant to take full ownership of our financial operations. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee financial controls, drive process improvements and support strategic decision‑making to foster growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full accountability for all financial controls, including Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Taxation compliance.
• Manage and oversee the billing process for the domestic customer base.
• Instigate, drive, and execute strategic process reviews to continuously improve system efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
• Partner with key management personnel to identify operational efficiencies and streamline workflows across departments.
• Deliver insightful analysis and high‑level decision‑making support to the senior management team.
• Respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests and business analysis as required by Business Managers.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or CPA qualification with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience in a similar financial management role.
• Proven leadership capabilities and strong people‑management skills.
• Exceptional problem‑solving abilities with a focus on internal controls and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude towards upgrading systems, workflows and professional skill sets.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex financial data to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Microsoft Office literacy.
• Experience with modern accounting software.
