Financial Accountant – Shannon (Aviation/Structured Finance)

About the role

This position is for a qualified accountant to join a fast‑growing finance team in Shannon. The role offers exposure to complex structured finance transactions and asset‑backed securities (ABS) portfolios within an aviation‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and regulatory reports for structured finance deals.
• Maintain and improve reporting controls for ABS portfolios.
• Support the finance team in day‑to‑day accounting tasks and month‑end close.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data for aviation‑related transactions.
• Assist in the analysis and documentation of structured finance structures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in aviation finance or structured finance is highly preferred.
• Exposure to ABS structures is an advantage.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
