Financial Analyst – Business Unit Finance (Contractor)

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports a large J&J Innovative Medicine biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Ringaskiddy, Cork. Working in a hybrid model, you will partner with Supply Chain functions and the broader finance organisation to deliver financial commitments and become a trusted business partner.

Key responsibilities

• Finance business partnering for onsite functions such as Project Execution, Maintenance & Automation, Planning, Operational Excellence, Training and EH&S.
• Prepare detailed analytics and performance insights for decision‑making.
• Manage intercompany recharges for global headcount and activities.
• Support capital investment processes, including funding requests, asset verification, capitalizations and month‑end/quarter‑end deliverables.
• Backup consolidation of total site spend reporting and enhance automation tools (AFO, Co‑Pilot).
• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting and business planning, including automated solutions.
• Implement Johnson & Johnson finance digital transformation at site level, focusing on Anaplan forecasting modules.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting procedures and approval guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant.
• 2‑4 years of finance experience in a complex multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and manage multiple priorities.
