About the role

Mercor is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join its remote team on a contract basis. You will work independently and asynchronously, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality financial analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess financial and business documents for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Provide structured feedback on document analysis to improve evaluation projects.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance financial model accuracy and business data insights.
• Work independently to meet deadlines and project goals.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• 2+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Based in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, or Canada.
