Fluidics Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Fluidics Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Dublin, supporting the design and development of high‑reliability solenoid valves and fluid control components for space propulsion applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solenoid valves and precision electromechanical mechanisms.
• Produce 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, verification, and qualification activities.
• Perform engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and root‑cause investigations.
• Select suitable materials, sealing solutions, and components for high‑performance fluid systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in technical reviews with customers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience in the aerospace or space industry.
• Experience in valve, mechanism, or fluid systems design and development.
• Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of materials, sealing technologies, and fluid systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office.
