Full Stack Software Engineer – Senior Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Private Markets division of Charles River Development. You will work within an agile scrum team to design, develop, test and maintain cloud‑native modules that support our investment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, test and debug large‑scale software enhancements.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create simple, sustainable solutions for complex problems.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance to customer support and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews, offering guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes.
• Write unit and automation tests to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Engage fully in the agile process: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 1‑3 years of experience developing event‑driven architectures, preferably in financial services.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Java and Spring framework.
• Front‑end development with Angular or React.
• Cloud‑native development on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with Snowflake data platform.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS).
• Agile development methodology and unit/automation testing.
