Fullstack Engineer – 12‑month Contract (Hybrid, Galway)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Fullstack Engineer to join our team on a 12‑month contract. You will work in a hybrid model (one week on‑site in Galway and three weeks remote) delivering robust, maintainable software for our financial services platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications using Angular, React, Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs and cloud‑native services on AWS.
• Contribute to test‑automation, CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews and define source‑control and build strategies.
• Collaborate with product owners, technical leads and architects to shape technical enhancements.
• Provide third‑level production support when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software design and development experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and work collaboratively in a distributed team.

What we offer
