Fullstack Java Developer – React & Cloud (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Java Developer to join our Dublin team on a hybrid basis. You will work on both back‑end services and front‑end interfaces, delivering robust, scalable solutions that integrate Java, Spring technologies and modern React‑based UI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based micro‑services using Spring Boot, Spring Security and JPA/Hibernate.
• Build responsive front‑end applications with React, Redux and TypeScript.
• Implement and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs, handling JSON payloads.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and ensure code quality through CI pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Cloud Foundry.
• Monitor applications using Splunk or similar tools and troubleshoot performance issues.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java JDK 8, Tomcat and Maven.
• Proficiency in Spring ecosystem (Boot, Security) and relational databases (SQL Server or similar).
• Hands‑on expertise in React, Redux and TypeScript for front‑end development.
• Solid understanding of multi‑threading, message queuing, distributed systems and design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit) and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
