General Manager – Operations & Commercial Lead

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to drive operational excellence and commercial performance at our client’s Cork facility. The role spans multiple sectors, including healthcare, hospitality, cleanroom, ICS, and pest control, and requires a leader who can translate strategy into measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop cross‑functional teams across production, distribution, and customer service.
• Champion a proactive health and safety culture, ensuring full compliance at all times.
• Drive performance through KPIs, continuous‑improvement initiatives, and strong leadership.
• Shape and deliver strategic business objectives in partnership with senior stakeholders.
• Own site budgets, P&L, and operational planning.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Proven success as a Senior Operations Manager or in a comparable high‑impact leadership role.
• Strong operational, financial, commercial, and strategic expertise.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for safety, sustainability, and delivering excellence.
