General Operative

About the role

As a General Operative you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate filling of a range of dairy products into tubs or foil, ensuring high-quality standards throughout production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of the product range and its behaviour during the filling process.
• Set up machine run parameters using consul commands and screen options according to the Manufacturing Order.
• Configure ink-jet printers, position the print head correctly and load product data.
• Perform X-Ray tests and verify that the metal detection system is functioning.
• Change internal machine components when required for product changes.
• Monitor production, clear blockages or spills promptly and keep the work area clean.
• Prepare machines for cleaning, remove internal components for hand-wash baths and follow CIP procedures.
