General Operative – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a General Operative to join our manufacturing team. The role involves supporting production across various areas of the factory, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality, safety and GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work flexibly across any manufacturing area in the plant.
• Meet defined production targets and adhere to schedules.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
• Observe safety rules, wear protective equipment and report incidents.
• Implement quality, safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures.
• Use the company’s ERP system for production tracking.
• Apply lean and 6S standards to maintain an organised workplace.
• Complete all required training and undertake ad‑hoc duties as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or physically demanding environment is an advantage.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed production targets.
• Strong punctuality and time‑management skills.
• Effective teamwork and communication abilities.

Required skills

• ERP system usage.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with 6S workplace standards.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
