General Operator – Biofuel Production

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic General Operator to join our biofuel production team at our Nobber facility. The role is full‑time and involves operating the biodiesel process, handling feedstock intake and dispatching finished product.

Key responsibilities

• Run and monitor the biodiesel production process using the PLC control system.
• Follow the daily production plan and ensure targets are met.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis.
• Perform line clearing and general housekeeping duties.
• Dispatch biodiesel promptly and off‑load feedstock to maintain supply.
• Operate a shunter truck (training provided).

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physical stamina for active work on the shop floor.
• Positive attitude, reliable and strong work ethic.
• Effective communication with a wide range of personnel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating PLC control systems.
