General Operator – Warehouse & Production

About the role

We are looking for a General Operator to join Kerry’s site in Carrigaline, Co. Cork. The position is full‑time, permanent and based in the warehouse, working 12‑hour rotating day/night shifts (3‑4 shifts per week).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process manufacturing orders, including picking, assembling and staging materials for production.
• Handle inbound goods, perform sampling and execute SAP transactions.
• Support inventory management through weekly cycle counts and SAP reconciliation.
• Manage dispatch and receipt of products and materials, including shrink‑wrapping, labelling and coordination with third‑party warehouses.
• Ensure safe working practices in areas with frequent forklift and pallet movements and support safety initiatives and audits.
• Maintain GMP standards, cleanliness and accurate documentation across warehouse and cold‑storage areas.
• Provide coverage for other warehouse roles during holiday periods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Valid forklift truck certification and practical experience operating forklifts.
• Leaving certificate or equivalent.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
• Energetic, able to work on own initiative and flexible to assist other departments.
