About the role
We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join the General Medical Services (GMS) scheme serving the Portlaw area in County Waterford. The post is based in Cahir, Co. Tipperary and is offered by the Health Service Executive (HSE) on a permanent, full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Provide General Medical Services under the GMS contract to the local community.
- Deliver primary‑care consultations, assessments and follow‑up care in accordance with HSE guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with service‑level agreements stipulated in the GMS scheme.
Required profile
- Open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants.
- Must meet the eligibility criteria for the GMS vacancy.
