Global Supply Planner

About the role
AbbVie is seeking a Global Supply Planner to manage short‑term and end‑to‑end supply chain planning across its worldwide network. The role ensures product availability, balances inventory, and supports the delivery of innovative medicines to patients worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily contact with one or more supply plants to coordinate finished product, bulk, API, and material supply.
- Keep SAP and JDA systems updated with the latest supply information and communicate risks to stakeholders.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and support artwork change logistics.
- Provide data for plant performance meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute financial processes such as hedging, inventory reserve review, and product scrapping.
- Support S&OE processes through root‑cause analysis and problem solving.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in operations, supply chain, or business management.
- 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on results and resilience.
