Graduate Engineer – Transportation

About the role

You will join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary transportation team delivering rail, road and public transport projects across Ireland and the UK. The role involves supporting the full life‑cycle of transport assets, from investigations and modelling through construction management to network maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with investigations, data collection and modelling for transport projects.
• Support construction management activities and liaison with contractors.
• Contribute to the maintenance and operation of transport networks.
• Work on a variety of projects including rail upgrades, motorways, bus corridors, greenways and cycleways.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, transport or environmental engineering (Level 8).
• Basic knowledge of planning application processes.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work effectively in a team and strong work ethic.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Desirable: postgraduate qualification, working towards chartered status, competency in AutoCAD and knowledge of DMURS, Traffic Signs Manual, Cycle Design Manual and Traffic Management Guidelines.
