Graduate Software Engineer (Hybrid, Galway)

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to join our Ministry Brands Graduate Programme in Galway. This hybrid position offers the chance to work in a high‑performing Agile R&D team, delivering SaaS solutions used by thousands of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy scalable SaaS features.
• Lead a defined feature or technical workstream from ideation through delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Engineering teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, production‑ready code and participate in code reviews.
• Present work to senior leadership at programme milestones.
• Mentor internship cohorts while advancing your own professional development.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong foundation in software development principles.
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Motivation to grow into a technical leader.

Required skills

• Experience with one or more programming languages such as PHP, Java, Python, JavaScript or C#.
• Understanding of databases and APIs.
• Familiarity with modern development practices and Agile methodologies.
