Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller supports the CFO and leads the Group’s core finance operations. This senior position oversees accounting, consolidation, reporting and control activities across all entities, ensuring high‑quality financial information and a robust control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close, annual audit and all group accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports, including the Group consolidation.
• Act as primary liaison for external auditors, coordinating audit deliverables across multiple entities.
• Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls and the Group’s SOX compliance framework.
• Lead external reporting requirements such as Form 20‑F and statutory accounts.
• Ensure proper functioning and continuous improvement of group financial systems.
• Develop and train the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Own inventory accounting, valuation, provisioning and controls, partnering with manufacturing and supply‑chain teams.
• Manage relationships with outsourced finance and corporate service providers.

• Proven ability to lead a small accounting team in a dynamic, scaling environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior leadership, auditors and external partners.
• Ability to drive process efficiency and control improvements.
