Head of Sales & Operations – Ireland

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales & Operations to lead our Irish subsidiary of a world‑leading consumer medical device manufacturer. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will own commercial outcomes, drive market strategy and ensure operational excellence across the Irish market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the Irish business and work closely with the MD to achieve strategic objectives.
• Hold full P&L accountability, including decisions on revenue recognition, customer terms and market strategy.
• Develop and execute commercial, sales and operational excellence plans in partnership with senior leadership in the UK.
• Drive industry‑leading sales performance, operational efficiency and customer service while fostering professional growth of the team.
• Collaborate with marketing and distribution partners to build profitable market propositions.
• Undertake registered director duties, ensuring legal, regulatory and fiduciary compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the Irish consumer healthcare market.
• Proven ability to manage key opinion leader relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and results‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable plans.
