Head of Sector – Drive Innovation & Leadership

About the role

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape the strategic engagement of a leading international standards organisation within the health sector. You will build influential relationships, embed data and traceability standards into digital health programmes, and help drive patient‑care improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior relationships across the healthcare ecosystem to position the organisation as a trusted standards partner.
• Influence decision‑making to ensure data standards are embedded in digital health initiatives and procurement processes.
• Represent the organisation at national conferences, sector events, and working groups as a speaker or chair.
• Facilitate sector‑specific working groups supporting stakeholders in implementing digital safety and traceability strategies.
• Oversee healthcare‑related member enquiries, driving growth in membership, services, and sector adoption.
• Create and execute the strategic plan for healthcare sector engagement, managing budget, revenue, and resource optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Significant senior leadership experience with a proven record of building trusted relationships and delivering outcomes.
• Ability to quickly establish trust and align senior and executive stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, outcome‑focused delivery mindset.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, confident in external representation.

Required skills
