Health Promotion and Improvement Manager (Grade VIII)

About the role

The Health Promotion and Improvement Manager (Grade VIII) will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and improvement programmes across the HSE Mid West region, covering Limerick, Clare and Tipperary North.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate regional health promotion initiatives in line with national HSE strategies.
• Develop improvement plans, monitor outcomes and report on performance metrics.
• Collaborate with local health teams, community partners and stakeholders to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Manage resources, budgets and staffing for the health promotion portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, regulations and quality standards.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in public health, health promotion or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in managing health promotion or improvement programmes.
• Eligibility for Grade VIII civil service appointment.
• Strong understanding of the Irish health system and regional health needs.
