Homecare Training Instructor

About the role

The Homecare Training Instructor will be based at our Head Office in Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin and will travel across Ireland to deliver induction programmes for new Healthcare Assistants. You will play a key part in ensuring high‑quality teaching and compliance for Platinum Homecare services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver induction training programmes for Healthcare Assistants.
• Implement Platinum Homecare programmes on a weekly schedule agreed with General Managers nationwide.
• Conduct teaching and learning sessions that demonstrate empathy, attention to detail and a learner‑centred approach.
• Schedule training sessions, organise resources and manage all related paperwork and assessments.
• Maintain compliance with induction training standards and documentation.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching and commitment to learner success.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Preferred: QQI Level 6 Social/Healthcare degree or equivalent.
• Preferred qualifications: Manual Handling/Patient Handling Instructor (Level 6) and Train‑the‑Trainer Delivery and Evaluation (Level 6).
