HR Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join Dovida’s Irish operations. The role supports the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of caregivers while ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment legislation. You will work closely with the national HR team, the General Manager and Operations Manager to deliver a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct second‑round face‑to‑face interviews and coordinate onboarding for newly hired caregivers.
• Manage probation periods, gather feedback from schedulers and care managers, and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee employee relations, handling queries, investigations, grievances, disciplinary hearings and exit interviews.
• Monitor and administer sickness, unplanned absences and other leave.
• Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives, including appreciation weeks, events and the annual engagement survey.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensure HR policies and the employee handbook are up to date, and support annual audits.
• Collaborate on national hiring week events and other HR projects.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience as an HR Administrator, Generalist, Specialist or Coordinator.
• Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to implement new initiatives.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Understanding of the home‑care or healthcare sector in Ireland is preferred.
