HR Generalist – Manufacturing Site

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation to recruit an HR Generalist for one of its key operational sites in the Munster region. The role will support the full employee life‑cycle in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment and onboarding, including right‑to‑work documentation.
• Manage employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances and absence cases.
• Advise line managers on HR policies, procedures and Irish employment legislation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Produce HR reports and analyse metrics such as absence, turnover and compliance.
• Assist workforce planning and staffing in line with operational needs.
• Deliver training and guidance to managers on employee‑related topics.
• Contribute to engagement initiatives, graduate programmes and development activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and employee representatives.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in HR or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role.
• Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law.
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment, ideally manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
