Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious HR Generalist to join a fast‑growing manufacturing organisation in Cork. Reporting to the Site Manager and supported by the Regional HR Manager and HR Graduate, you will gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for site‑based roles, partnering with the Group Recruitment Specialist.
• Lead employee‑relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, investigations and performance management.
• Liaise with Payroll and Finance to process new starters, leavers, contractual changes and payroll queries.
• Produce and analyse HR reports and people metrics such as absence, turnover, headcount and workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring GDPR and employment‑legislation compliance.
• Utilise the HRIS for data management, reporting and process optimisation.
• Provide HR advice and coaching to managers on recruitment, employee relations, performance management and employment law.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Coordinator role.
• Proven experience in end‑to‑end recruitment, employee‑relations cases and HR reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and GDPR compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Salary €48,000‑50,000 dependent on experience.
