ICT Security & Networks Administrator

About the role

The National Treasury Management Agency is seeking an ICT Security & Networks Administrator to help protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its data and services. Working in a hybrid network environment, you will support both on‑premise and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with the ICT Cyber Security & Networks team.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and maintain networking and data‑communications infrastructure on‑premise and in hybrid cloud environments.
• Monitor network security alerts, investigate suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
• Assist in the administration of ICT security technologies with a focus on network protection.
• Support the implementation of security controls and ensure high availability of network services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of network configurations and security procedures.

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of network and security concepts and relevant professional certifications.
• Ability to stay current on emerging security threats, trends and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret alerts and resolve network issues.
