About the role
We are seeking an experienced ICU/Anaesthesia Registrar to join a private hospital in Dublin. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate care across theatre, intensive care and acute settings, working under consultant supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Provide ICU care under consultant/intensivist supervision.
- Manage acute cases including airway emergencies, post‑operative follow‑up and resuscitation.
- Hand over patients to incoming/outgoing teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Record clinical findings promptly and accurately.
- Assist with patient transfers to ICU and support theatre activity.
- Contribute to quality improvement, risk management and service development.
- Support teaching and mentorship of junior staff.
Required profile
- General IMC registration or in the final stages of registration.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MCAI, FCAI, MRCP, MRCS).
- Valid ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Proven ICU/Anaesthesia experience in an acute hospital setting.
- IELTS overall Band 7 (minimum 6.5 each component) or OET Grade B.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
