Implementation Lead – LIMS Digitalisation Programme

About the role

This position is part of a site‑wide digitalisation programme that will roll out a new global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The Implementation Lead will act as the technical authority for validation, configuration and delivery, driving the project to meet aggressive timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑level LIMS implementation activities (LabWare or equivalent).
• Own the validation lifecycle, including execution and review of electronic test scripts and SME sign‑off.
• Oversee master data strategy, creation, verification and qualification.
• Provide technical oversight for data migration from legacy systems and new functionality development.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system release activities.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for QA, QC and digital programme stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• ~5+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment.
• Proven LIMS implementation experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ exposure beneficial).
• Experience reviewing and approving test scripts.
• Background in master data build and governance.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory systems such as LIMS, Empower, SAP interfaces.
• Solid understanding of QC lab workflows (wet chemistry, instrumentation, etc.).
• Excellent technical leadership and communication skills.
