Information Technology Support Analyst

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking an Information Technology Support Analyst to join their permanent team. You will provide technical support to end‑users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and contribute to IT projects and upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end‑users and resolve IT issues promptly.
• Identify and resolve IT problems as they arise.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on‑site and via cloud services.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, phones and other end‑user devices.
• Maintain a highly organised inventory of IT assets (ITAM).
• Monitor and track issues to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure tickets are registered and dealt with effectively.
• Contribute to IT projects, including software deployments and hardware upgrades.
• Escalate technical issues to senior team members when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a technical support role.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD and managing security groups.
• Ability to handle access requests and manage permissions.
• Proven capability in troubleshooting Office 365 issues and software installations.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to learn and grow.
