Information Technology Support Specialist – Dublin

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to join a collaborative IT team on a permanent basis. You will provide high‑level technical assistance to internal users, act as an escalation point, and help maintain the stability of business‑critical systems and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical support for hardware, software and cloud‑based environments.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT incidents and service requests.
• Serve as the escalation point for first‑line support and coordinate with infrastructure and systems teams.
• Support and administer Microsoft Azure environments and manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, assist with IT asset management processes and lifecycle tracking.
• Participate in projects such as hardware roll‑outs, software deployments, upgrades and migrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge‑base articles and support procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Technical Support, Service Desk or IT Support Analyst role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and IT Asset Management processes.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple issues and work both independently and collaboratively.
