Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic IT Service Operations team. In this hands‑on position you will support and enhance core infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, networking, and security platforms while delivering reliable, secure IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, Entra ID and Intune.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Support Cisco and Palo Alto networking and firewall technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, network and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate with external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintain security controls through monitoring, vulnerability management and patching.
• Conduct disaster‑recovery testing and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 and managing Windows/Linux environments.
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, cloud platforms and security best practices.
• Experience in a regulated environment is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Intune Administrator, Cisco CCNA, Palo Alto PCNSA, CompTIA Security+ or ITIL 4 Foundation are desirable.
