Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

TechHeads is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a well‑established organisation in Kerry. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will support and enhance the company’s IT infrastructure while contributing to a range of digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure and technical support.
• Maintain Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and Azure Entra ID environments.
• Collaborate with managed service providers and third‑party vendors.
• Support ServiceNow and IT service‑management processes.
• Assist with networking, telephony, CCTV and site technology across multiple locations.
• Contribute to infrastructure, networking and cloud projects.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, patch management and endpoint protection.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking and hybrid environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and a collaborative approach.
