In‑House Capital Markets / Structured Finance Lawyer

About the role

This is an in‑house position within a fast‑growing international finance business based in Dublin. The lawyer will sit alongside investment and origination teams, working on live transactions from origination through to funding, rather than providing back‑office advice.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and document financing transactions using the firm’s own documentation.
• Own the quality and compliance of documentation end‑to‑end, coordinating with internal risk, credit and compliance teams.
• Manage external counsel where required and liaise directly with counterparties.
• Provide commercial legal advice that aligns with business outcomes.

Required profile

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in transactional finance, preferably in structured finance, securitisation, or loan/receivables work.
• Exposure to a range of financing structures such as repo, stock lending and total‑return swaps.
• Understanding of rating‑agency expectations on rated debt.
• Eligibility to act as in‑house counsel in Ireland.
