Insights Analyst – Data-driven Sales Insights

About the role

LinkedIn is seeking an Insights Analyst to turn its massive proprietary data into actionable stories that help the Sales Solutions team serve large enterprise clients. You will work closely with sales partners, translating complex data into clear, data‑driven narratives that drive customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage LinkedIn’s unique data sets to generate insights that influence customers' business outcomes.
• Write SQL and Python queries to extract data from LinkedIn’s data warehouse.
• Analyze results using Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint and craft compelling data‑driven narratives.
• Present insights to partners and clients, tailoring communication to the audience.
• Manage assignment delivery in an organized, systematic manner based on impact.
• Develop deep knowledge of industry talent trends and use it to formulate effective insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, customer success, sales, or consulting.
• 2+ years of experience writing and querying SQL.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate confidently to non‑technical audiences.
• Consultative mindset with a focus on building trust and delivering value.
