Installation Technician – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

MSR-FSR is seeking Installation Technicians to install, commission and qualify advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer fabrication facilities across Europe. The role involves extensive travel and requires adherence to strict cleanroom and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, assemble and commission sophisticated semiconductor equipment according to client specifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum and process utility hookups.
• Conduct tool alignment, calibration, startup and functional testing to verify performance.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, contamination control and EHS regulations.
• Document installation activities, technical findings and commissioning results.
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, relocations and technology conversions.
• Train customer personnel on operation, basic maintenance and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, tools and project progress.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Europe.
• EU work authorisation.
• Minimum 1 year of technical, electrical or mechanical experience.
• Professional level English communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
