Instructor / Supervisor – Day Services (Part‑Time)

About the role

Sunbeam House Services is looking for a dedicated Instructor / Supervisor to deliver day‑service programmes for adults with intellectual disabilities. The role is based in the Ardbrae Residential Service in Bray and works two days per week, supporting participants to develop independence, life‑skills and community involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging day‑service activities and learning opportunities.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals, independence and wellbeing.
• Facilitate community outings, education, training and social participation.
• Provide personal care assistance when required.
• Assist with personal planning, goal tracking and progress reviews.
• Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams and colleagues.

Required profile

• QQI Level 7 in Social Care (or equivalent) for Grade 6402.
• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Social Care, Training, Education or related field.
• Proven experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication, organisational and IT abilities.
• Creative, person‑centred approach.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
